Public Relations

Public relations is essential in order for a brand to succeed. Getting positive media coverage is crucial. Developing the right campaigns is vital to excel in today's marketing world. Prepping for media interviews is key to excelling interviews. Below are some of my past public relations works that I have developed. Please take a look.

As geopolitical tensions rise and energy prices continue to climb, both in the U.S. and across Europe, the world is looking to America for energy leadership and stability. Instead, this Administration continues to restrict access to America’s oil and natural gas resources, and legal and regulatory uncertainty is hindering increased energy production right here at home.

Here’s how this relates to energy operations in the Gulf of Mexico:

  • The current 5-year program has expired, and no lease sales can be held without a program in place.

  • Energy operations in the Gulf of Mexico impact new and existing jobs. In 2021, oil and natural gas production in the Gulf of Mexico supported more than 325,000 American jobs.

  • The Proposed Program and administration officials have emphasized that a Final Program with no sales is being considered, and that lease sales scheduled in a Final Program can be cancelled should market or other conditions change. Given the current world unrest, a Final Program with no sales is a non-starter that will hamstring our county’s future flexibility and undermine our energy security.

Simply put: The Department of the Interior (DOI) should swiftly issue a Final 5-year Program for offshore leasing that includes the 11 proposed sales.

Will you stand with us for American-made energy? Submit your comment here to the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management and tell the DOI to approve the draft program and to proceed to hold lease sales.

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus meets with Small Business Administrator Isabella Guzman

Dec 2, 2021

Press Release

For Immediate Release

WASHINGTON – Today, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) Chair Raul Ruiz issued the following statement after the Biden-Harris Administration announced it would restart the Trump-era Remain in Mexico policy, also known as Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), to comply with a court order.

“The CHC is deeply concerned by the Biden Administration’s announcement that it will reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy in compliance with a court order,” said Chair Dr. Raul Ruiz. “This anti-immigrant policy by the Trump Administration has placed thousands of vulnerable migrants in harm’s way. The CHC applauded the Administration’s efforts to terminate the program in October and we strongly disagree with the court order forcing the reinstatement of this inhumane policy. The CHC stands ready to continue our work with the Administration to build a humane, just, and efficient immigration system that is consistent with our American values."

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Chair Statement on the Reinstatement of the Remain in Mexico Policy

Dec 10, 2021

Press Release

For Immediate Release

WASHINGTON – Yesterday, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) met with Small Business Administrator (SBA) Isabella Guzman to discuss access to COVID-19 relief programs, expanding Hispanic-owned small businesses’ access to federal contracting opportunities and the impact of the Build Back Better Act among Hispanic small business owner.

“The Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) held a productive meeting with Small Business Administration Administrator Isabella Guzman on how we can help Hispanic-owned small businesses succeed,” said Dr. Raul Ruiz. “The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on our community and disproportionately affected Hispanic and minority-owned businesses across the country. Having a Latina at the table, who is an entrepreneur herself and who has previously worked at the SBA, has been critical to helping small business owners recover and grow. The CHC stands ready to work with Administrator Guzman to ensure equity-driven policies are enacted so that minority business owners have access to the resources they need.”
