As a social media manager and public relations strategist of the American Petroleum Institue, Congressional Hispanic Caucus, NASA Internships, and Arizona PBS Kids, I rebranded the social media pages with human elements, social media campaigns, increased the engagement rates, produced videos, and increased the number of applicants for the upcoming internships session. In an effort to highlight the diverse advocates who are part of API's Energy Citizens program, I created and produced a campaign that is inclusive. From industry employees to small business owners, we come together to create a better tomorrow. We are passionate to see our nation develop balanced energy policies that strengthen our communities & support our families.

Energy Citizens - Veterans Campaign
In efforts to reach new audiences, and to highlight current Energy Citizens advocates, I wrote a script, and proposed a campaign that highlighted real supporters to share the importance of veterans' sacrifices and contributions to keep America safe and secure and how one in ten natural gas and oil industry workers is a veteran. America’s global leadership within the energy sector depends on the leadership veteran community.

Día de los Muertos
In honor of Día de los Muertos, I produced a social media video campaign that included the Congressional Hispanic Caucus members, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, CHC Chair Dr. Raul Ruiz, Rep. Pete Aguilar, Rep. Teresa Leger Fernandez, and the Library of Congress Hispanic Reading Room. The event was in honor of essential and frontline workers who passed away during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The video engagement increased by 3,098% and it received over 37K views.

In honor of Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I produced a video campaign that included NASA stakeholders and NASA astronaut Jonny Kim. The campaign was shared across multiple NASA accounts.

For my capstone public relations project, my partner and I worked on Phoenix Children's Hospital (PCH) for an entire semester where we measured PCH's social media and media coverage growth.
